

Paul Vincent Sartori, 74, passed away Friday, December 27, 2024. He was born April 26, 1950 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Francis Paul and Violet Rose (Cerviano) Sartori. Paul graduated from Linden McKinley High School in 1968 and earned his degree from Central Carolina Technical College in 1993. He proudly served in the Air Force from 1969 until his retirement in 1992. A passionate sports enthusiast, Paul was a devoted Ohio State Buckeyes fan and served as an usher at various events for OSU. He was also a season ticket holder for the Columbus Blue Jackets. On the baseball and softball fields, Paul earned the nickname “Yogi” for playing like Yogi Berra. He also was known for umpiring countless games.
Family was everything to Paul, and he never met a stranger. He had a deep love for his dogs and dedicated 22 years of service to the State of Ohio, retiring on December 1, 2023. Paul was an extraordinary man who was loved by everyone. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Elaine Jackson and brother, Tom Sartori. Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Linda (Parliament) Sartori; daughter, Aubrey (Troy) Batey and Christy Sartori; grandchildren, Mikayla Batey, Vincent Sartori, Emily (Jonathen) Beck, and Connor Batey; great-granddaughter, Ellisa Blevins; and many family members, and dear friends.
