Raymond C. & Carol A. Bowles

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our incredible parents, Raymond C. Bowles (August 3, 1937 - April 6, 2024) and Carol M. Bowles (March 31, 1940 - April 5, 2024). They gave us more happiness than we could have asked for and fought harder than any of us could have ever imagined. We know that they are finally at peace and no longer suffering.

Ray and Carol met at the Columbus house authority in the 1960’s and married August 14,1965 and were happily married for 58 years.

They were preceded in death by their parents, Luther and Georgia (Puckett) Bowles and Richard and Juanita (Rowe) Murray; son, Richard; and siblings.

Ray and Carol are survived by their children, Chad and Evie Bowles and Jenny and Scott Bowles-Ratliff; beloved grandchildren, Christina and Alexis Bowles, Kyle Bowles, Carson Bowles, Karen Bowles, Katelynn Bowles, Chad Bowles Jr. and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2024 at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd., (HOOVER RD AT KINGSTON AVE), Grove City where funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday. Interment Galloway Cemetery.
