Robert (Robbie) W. Graham stepped into the presence of his Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 30, 2025, after a sudden heart event. His departure was unexpected, and the depth of the ache he leaves behind cannot fully be captured in words.
Robbie was born on March 1, 1971, in Granite City, Illinois. He grew up in Panama City Beach, Florida, and eventually made his home in Columbus, Ohio, where he lived the fullness of his adult life.
Robbie’s life was marked by devotion — to God, to his family, and to every life he touched. He loved Scripture with a steady, reverent passion. He studied it, wrestled with it, sang it, taught it, and wrote about it. The Word of God shaped him deeply, and he clung to its promises with both hands. It is no stretch to say Robbie loved God with all his heart, and it brings comfort to imagine him now rejoicing in heaven, welcomed as a good and faithful servant.
To know Robbie was to know warmth, generosity, and humor that landed with uncanny timing. His wit could be sharp, irreverent, and unforgettable. The world around him amused him endlessly, and he brought that delight into the lives of others. He was a loyal friend, a gentle companion to the grieving, a loving son, and a father whose pride in his son, David, was woven into everything he was. David, he was profoundly proud of the man you have become.
But perhaps nowhere did Robbie’s tenderness shine more clearly than in his marriage. As a husband, he was steady, servant-hearted, and unconditionally devoted. Denise often called him her Best Friend, her Goose, her Rock — and she knew, without any doubt, that Robbie was a gift that God had placed directly into her life. Their love was a refuge and a testimony.
Robbie was brilliantly self-taught in countless ways: music, video, graphic and print design, technology, movie trivia, and the sacred work of traumatic-grief companioning. His creativity was boundless, and his compassion ran deep.
Robbie was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Flora Graham (Wilson), his beloved stepson, Drey Meine, and his father-in-law, David Dawson.
He is survived by his wife, Denise Meine-Graham; his son, David Graham; his father and mother-in-law, Gene and Kathy Terrell; aunts, uncles; and countless friends — including many suicide loss survivors who began as strangers and became family.
His absence will be felt in many lives, but his impact will continue in all who were shaped by his humor, his kindness, his wisdom, and his unwavering faith.
May his memory be a comfort and a blessing.
