

Passed away peacefully on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Kobacker house with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E.Shover Sr. and wife Gladys, his first wife Janice. Brother Richard, son Stephen and step grandson, Cole Keylor.
Robert is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years Winnie Shover, his sons Jeff (Purita) and Mike, daughter-in-law, Carlene , stepchildren, Randy Keylor, Brent (Kassi) Keylor, Annette (Mike) Keylor Hallarn, Danette Keylor Ward (John) & Sister in law Toni Shover.
He also leaves behind a cherished group of Grandchildren; Josh, Ariel & Lucas.
Step- Grandchildren; Garrett, Blake, Colin, Ryan, Kelsie, Amber, Dustin, Scout, Sailor, Mike & Joe. Great Grandchildren; Jaiden, Jordan, Josylnn Jaxon. Step Great Grandchildren: Allen, Beckett, Brayden and Kellan.
A proud Army veteran, Robert served in medical supply in Germany. He retired after 30 years as a distributor for Little Debbie snack cakes. Robert was an active member of Southwest Darby Creek Church of the Nazarene, where he played guitar, harmonica, and sang with the worship team. Bob was a member of Roundalab, instructor of round dancing, had his own dance club, and cued for several square dance clubs.
In addition to his many talents and passions, Robert enjoyed fishing, camping, and being outdoors. He had a deep appreciation for gospel, country western music and was known for his adventurous spirit—he even swam across Hoover Dam just to say he did it.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Schoedinger Grove City, with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Serena Kleppinger. Interment will be at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens. After the committal service, the family will be a gathering at the Shover residence with family and friends.
Food will be provided by Bob and Winnie’s church
