It’s hard to express what my aunt Stephanie has meant me. She hosted my baby and bridal showers, she cared for my first son when I had to go back to work, she restored and sold us our first house, she and Tim gave my soon to be husband a job… but despite all of those caring acts, the most valuable things Stephanie gave me were her examples and advice. She was one of the most genuinely loving human beings I’ve known. I often live by the advice she gave me right before my wedding about marrying my best friend when she noticed the similarities between Tim and my husband and our relationships. She will always be cherished

I met Kyle on the first day of third grade and not long after that I met Nathan, Stephanie, and Tim when they moved into Heritage. Stephanie was like a second mom and a lot of the neighborhood kids hung out at the Tweed house. When the bus didn't show up she would load us all up and take us to school. She always had the pantry stocked with snacks and the fridge full of drinks. When Kyle and I started dating she liked to tell us that she knew from the beginning we would end up together. She was so excited to be a grandma and Watson loved going to Mooey's house where he got to explore, get dirty and be a wild child. My heart hurts for my sweet boy that only got a few years of Mooey time, but those years were stuffed full of love and I know she will keep an eye out for him.

Aunt Stephanie was a second mom to LB when I went back to work when he was just 8 weeks old, until he went to preschool. I felt so much better about leaving him when I knew he would be spending the day with her. She gave him all her love, and took him on adventures, taught him in fun ways, and snuggled up for nap time. Aunt Stephanie cared for LB, but she also served as a role model for me. She also raised two boys, after having grown up with sisters.  When I’ve doubted myself as a mom, I’ve often thought about Stephanie and how she navigated parenthood, giving her boys love, which resulted in two wonderful grown sons. She was an amazing mom and I aspire to be like her. Her willingness to jump into difficult or unknown tasks encourages me to try to learn new skills, and her memory will remain with me through life, helping me to persevere through the challenges and celebrate the fun.  Ben pointed out to me that as much as it’s hurt to lose Stephanie, we are all so fortunate to have had such an amazing person in our lives. Aunt Stephanie remains in our memory and our hearts.

I always enjoyed seeing Stephanie.  I loved watching her and Nikki tear up a dance floor or two.  Such a fun, free spirit.  I have no doubt her energy will forever freely flow through every being she ever touched.  ❤️

Tweed Family,

I will never forget Mrs. Tweed taking Kyle and I out to eat the night we both broke our university’s 3,000-meter school record. My mom couldn’t attend that race, and Stephanie made me feel like our accomplishment truly mattered. She didn’t have to include me on a night that could have been just for her and Kyle, but she did so without hesitation. That kindness left a lasting mark on me, and I will always be grateful for it.

Tracey and I also fondly remember the wonderful supper at your parents’ home and how warmly they welcomed us. We are thankful we had the chance to know them and to experience their generosity.

I worked with Stephanie at UHC and we sat together most of training. I always looked forward to coming to work because of her. She was kind to everyone. Praying for those who loved her.

Mrs. Tweed possessed a remarkable personality that brightened the lives of everyone she encountered. I held immense respect for Stephanie, not only as the spouse of one of my closest mentors but also for her consistent kindness and consideration.

Tim exemplifies true leadership, inspiring dedication and hard work from those around him. I recall particularly challenging days at Hatfield Hyundai Subaru when, despite the stress, Tim's demeanor would visibly lighten upon receiving a call from Stephanie. These moments served as a poignant reminder of how fortunate we were to have Stephanie in our lives.

I can't make there to say goodbye to beautiful Stephanie and your family, please know my heart and prayers will be. I'll never forget her kindness and sweet smile. May her memory be eternal 🙏🏼
