William "Bill" H. McKinley Jr.

William “Bill” H. McKinley, Jr., age 85 of Grove City, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024. Bill was born in West Jefferson to the late William H. Sr. and Elizabeth Baber. After graduating high school, Bill proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was employed with the Columbus Showcase Company with over 40 years of dedicated service. Bill was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in New Rome and VFW Post #7005. He enjoyed woodworking, being outdoors, and cheering on his beloved Cleveland Browns and OSU Buckeyes. He loved his family and friends as well as his hometown and always looked forward to hanging out with the Tuesday night gang at Galloway Tavern. Bill is survived by his wife of 61 years, Margaret McKinley; children Jill (Chuck) Vogelpohl and Mike McKinley; sister Peg (Larry) Danduran. Bill’s family will receive friends 4-6 PM Monday, April 1 at Schoedinger Grove City 4242 Hoover Rd (Hoover Rd at Kingston Ave) where his Memorial Service will immediately follow at 6 PM. Family and friends are encouraged to wear their casual Ohio State Buckeyes or Cleveland Browns gear.
