William Arthur Vawter, 92, of Grove City, went home to be with the Lord on February 19, 2022. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on June 20, 1929 to his parents Paul and Charity Vawter. William retired from Lusterware and from the City of Columbus. He was a member of Buckeye Christian Church, Grove City.
William was preceded in death by his parents Paul Vawter and Charity Smith; his wife of nearly 69 years Delores Vawter; his daughter Jackie; and brother Jack Vawter.
William is survived by and will be greatly missed by his daughter Billie Snider; grandchildren Megan (Josh) Wright and Troy (Melissa) Snider; great grandchildren Grant, Claire, and Elise Snider; brothers Jim (Arlene) Vawter and Paul (Kathy) Vawter; sister-in-law Mary Ann Vawter; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
William’s family will receive visitors on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 4pm to 7pm at SCHOEDINGER FUNERAL SERVICE- GROVE CITY, 4242 Hoover Road, Grove City where a funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 10am, followed by interment at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway.
