Andrus B Rayon

Andrus B. Rayon (A.B.) 89, of Port Arthur, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014 in Houston.

Andrus was a Welder Supervisor for Texaco and retired after 39 years of service. He then was the owner of Rayon Locksmith for 20 years. A WWII Army Veteran, he loved his family unconditionally and was devoted to The Lord. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and football.

Proceeded in death by his parents, Andrew and Anastasia Rayon; son, David Rayon; and brother, Andre Rayon.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marion; daughters, Judith Gray and husband Jim of Houston, and Vickie Rayon of Port Arthur; grandchildren, David Gray and Jackie Gray of Houston; numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as Pallbearers, Lance Corner, Mike Abraham, Jim Gray, David Gray, Royce Corner, Ronnie Mesh, and Curtis Corner. Bobby Barras as Honorary Pallbearer.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 15, 2014 at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with the Rosary recited at 6:00pm by Fr. Lewis Del Arue. The Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 10:00am at St. Catherine's Catholic Church with Fr. David Placette officiating. Rite of Committal to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
