Betty loved to garden and spend time with her family. She worked as a teller for Merchants Bank for many years and had been a member of The Methodist Temple. She had been a lifelong resident of Port Arthur until moving to The Woodlands fifteen years ago.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jane Seaman.
Her survivors include her son, David Johnson and wife Brenda of The Woodlands and two grandchildren, Ross Johnson and Rachel Johnson.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 25, 2012 at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Dr. Jessie Brannen officiating.
