Stan was a lifelong area resident and self- employed master plumber. He was a member of American Legion Post 7.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sylvia de la Rosa; brothers, David and Romeo de la Rosa.
Survivors include his daughter, Desiree de la Rosa of Groves; sisters, Maggie Valma, Lidia Rojas, Maria Zapata, Oralia Flores, Diana Elizondo, and Estela Garza; brothers, Augustin, Joe, John and Richard de la Rosa; and grandson, Jaden Joaquin Perez.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with a 7:30 p.m. Rosary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 19, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Port Arthur with Reverend T. R. Blanco officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
