Albert Astins

Astins, Albert Price-- Passed away at home on Tuesday, January 1, 2013. This was the day God chose to come down and take Albert to Heaven where he can fly pain free and watch over his family. Albert is survived by his best friend, soulmate, and wife of 56 years Helen (Brown) Astins. He was the loving father of Carrie Astins Sekenda (Steve), and Michael Astins, and the late Christopher and David. Albert was the loving Poppa of Tom Kraus (Michelle), Shawn Kraus (Anne), James Kraus (Andrea), Krysta Astins, Amanda Astins, Ali Cerutti, Jessica Gratorx Matcheski, and Sarah Sekenda, and Great-Poppa of Gavin Kraus, Emmett Kraus, astrid Kraus, Isis Kraus, Shelby Kraus, He was predeceased by his brother Pat, and by his sisters Mary, and Helen. Albert was brother-in-law of Terry Brown (Liz). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Al will truly be missed by several people who's life he has touched one way or another. He will be fondly remembered by Stephanie Sekenda. Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, on Friday, January 4, 2013 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 2 p.m. with cremation to follow.
