Anna Zacharczuk

ZACHARCZUK, Anna - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Trinity Village Care Centre, Kitchener, on Thursday, February 5, 2009. Anna (Czarny) Zacharczuk was born on January 8, 1915 in Poland. She was the beloved wife of the late Lukasz Zacharczuk (February 21, 1997). Anna was the dear mother of Mary and her husband Jack Stadlbauer of Cambridge, Helen and her husband Jerry Schosser of Harrisburg, and the late Halina (1939) and Wladek (1942). She was the cherished grandma of Cathy Wesseling (Michael Imort), Wendy Schosser (Andreas Eanskat), Jeff Schosser (Krista), Leslie Stadlbauer and great-grandmama of Andrea, Jacob, Olivia and Brooklyn. Sister of Nick Charny (Irene), and Sofia de Maziejuk (Leon) of Argentina. Anna is predeceased by her siblings, Maria Baran (Jan), Piotr, Barbara, Stefka and by her twin brothers; also predeceased by her grandson, Andrew Stadlbauer (2003); and her parents, Eliasz and Anna (Horbonos) Czarny. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews in Canada, Argentina and Ukraine. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph where the family will receive friends on Monday, February 9, 2009 (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Anna will be held today (Monday) at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at Sacred Heart Church, 98 Alice St., Guelph on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment, Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph. Her spirit and soul are now free to join husband, Lukasz Zacharczuk. Two tired eyes are sleeping, Two willing hands are still, The one who worked so hard for us, Is resting at God's will. Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again.
