Rita is predeceased by her beloved husband, Stephen, her daughter-in-law Linda, as well as Savino (Dorothy) Trento, Virginio (Judy) Trento, Carlo (Nellie) Trento, Amelia (Dino) Stradiotto and John (Shirley) Trento.

A woman of deep love and unwavering dedication, Rita's life revolved around her family. She was known for her kind heart, simple joys, and quiet strength. As a skilled seamstress, Rita spent countless hours creating beautiful garments and mending clothes, always with care and precision. She found happiness in the little things, whether it was a shared meal with loved ones or the satisfaction of a completed project. Rita's legacy of love and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She leaves behind a family that will cherish her memory forever.

A visitation will take place on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 12:30 p.m., at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, ON. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., followed by a reception at the funeral home.
