Bertha Elizabeth Burns

BURNS, Bertha Elizabeth (Betty) - Peacefully at her home, at Wellington Park Terrace, Guelph, on Saturday, August 29, 2009. Betty (Walker) Burns age 92 years, was the beloved wife of the late Alexander Storey Burns (1990). She was the loving mother of Marian Abed of Denver Colorado Joe Burns, Susan and her husband Jim Andrews all of Guelph, Alex Burns and his partner Carol of Tillsonburg, and David Burns of Guelph and the late Elizabeth. Betty was the proud grandmother of Candida Mel Becky Jeffery Christopher, Michael, Shawn and her partner David Watson, Jim and his wife Shannon, Scott. Cameron, Jonathon and his wile Amy, and Allan and of three great-grandchildren Oliver; Ellery and Elija. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home 'Hart Chapel' , 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph where the family will receive friends on Tuesday September 1, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday September 2, 2009 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
