O’Donnell, Brian Kenneth – In his 80th year. Peacefully at Guelph General Hospital on Friday, September 19, 2014, surrounded by his family. Eldest son of the late Wilfred and Grace. Beloved husband of the late Jeanne (Legault) (June 6, 2014). Much loved father of David, Paul, Tim, Jeff (Wendy), Kathy (Steve Gallant) and Ken (Anne). Devoted grandfather of Matthew (Sara), Eric, Shannon (Rob), Scott and Erin. Survived by his brothers Gerald (Bernice), Mike (Ann), Denis (Sue) and Mark (Dianne) as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters and brothers-in-law Maureen and Terry Howard, Patricia and Sam Tersigni and infant grandson Gregory. Fondly remembered by the Legault, Woods, Lowry and Vaughan families. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of 5 West and 5 East at Guelph General Hospital, Elaine and Gary Shutsa and Terry Anne Howard for your care and support these last few weeks. There will be an interment of Brian’s cremated remains on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. Family will receive friends following the internment at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph for a memorial visitation on Friday, October 3, 2014 from 4 – 7 p.m. If so desired and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
