Cathy Penford-Mace

Mace, Cathy (nee Penford) Passed away suddenly on Friday April 29, 2011, at the Guelph General Hospital, in her 57th year. Cathy was the beloved wife of Ross Mace for 34 years, devoted mother of Cara Mace, Amber Mace (Todd Ritchie) and Brandon Mace (Kendra), loving and dedicated "Grandy" of Ashton, Cohen, Caiya and Taylor. Cathy is survived by sisters Diane Burton and Donna Cummings (the late Alex), sister-in-law Carol Wingett (Len), brothers-in-law Charlie Ball (Judy) and Dale Mace (the late Sharon) and her many nieces and nephews. Cate will live on in the hearts of everyone she has touched. Our hero is finally at peace, with the wind beneath her wings. Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, on Tuesday May 3, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 4, 2011 in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow.
