Christine Gobbi

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Christine (nee Scott) on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at the age of 47. Loved wife of Paul, adoring mother of Logan and Rylan, cherished daughter of Shelley Scott, loving sister of James Scott, treasured niece of Pam and Mike Winterhalt, Wendy and Jerry Phillips, Jean Scott, Fran Scott and Bob Scott. She is predeceased by her father, Bill (d.1977) and by her mother-in-law Lucia (d. 2017). Christine leaves and was loved by her father in-law Tarcisio Gobbi, in-laws Laura and George Furfaro, Lina Starr and Tim Law, Joe Gobbi and Carmen Underwood and many cousins and friends. She was the devoted aunt to Annie and Sophia Scott, Robert and Steven Furfaro, Francesca and Krystal Starr and Taylor Gobbi. Christine was an Occupational Therapist who enjoyed working with people. She loved and was very proud of her 2 boys.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph. A private Funeral Service has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated by the family.
