Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Guelph, on Thursday, July 11, 2019. David McMillan, in his 72nd year, was, for 49 years, the beloved husband of Anne (nee Rogers) McMillan. He was the dear father of Paul (Lisa) and Darryl (Carrie Sharpe). David was the loving Pop Pop of Zachary, Jimmy, Megan and Katie. He was predeceased by his sister Anne and brother Robert and by his parents Michael and Helen (nee Hamil) McMillan.
Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Willow Way, St. Joseph’s Health Centre and to the doctors and nurses on the sixth floor of the Guelph General Hospital.
Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph on Monday, July 15, 2019 from 12 to 1:30 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1:30 p.m. David’s ashes will be interred at Marymount Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
