Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Saturday, March 14th, 2020. Beloved husband to Sat Kaur Hira. Very proud father to Kulwant Kaur, Sukhwant Kaur, Kamal Hira, Charan Hira, and Manraj Hira. Loving grandfather to Jatinder, Tajinder, Sukhjit, Pawanjit, Tarminder, Amrit, and Anisha. Missed dearly by his great-grandsons Xavier and Kabir, as well as many extended family and friends.
A funeral service took place at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Monday, March 16, 2020 from 12 p.m.-2 p.m. The service then continued at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 276 Woolwich St, Guelph, from 2:30 p.m.-4 p.m. Cremation followed. Bhog will then take place on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at The Guelph Sikh Society Gurdawa, 70 Stevenson St., Guelph, from 2 p.m.-4p.m.
