Johnstone, Donald James-- Peacefully with his family by his side, at Hospice Wellington, Guelph, on Saturday, August 3, 2013. Donald James Johnstone, age 61 years, was the beloved husband of Margarita (Jimenez) Johnstone of Guelph. He was the loving father of Mateo Johnstone of Guelph and will be missed by his beloved pet Haiko. Donald was the dear brother of Ann Strathy and her partner Chris Henry of Guelph, and David Johnstone and his wife Susan of Petrolia. He was the dear brother-in-law of Marina Whyte and her husband James of Ottawa. Donald was a brother-in-arms to Seton Gordon and his wife Patricia Pinciaroli of Ottawa. Survived also by many nieces and nephews. Private cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St.N., Guelph, on Friday, August 9, 2013 from 1 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place in the chapel at 3 p.m. A reception will follow the service in the funeral home fellowship lounge.
