EVANS, Doris May - Passed away suddenly, and unexpectedly in her 91st year, at the Guelph General Hospital on Monday, August 27, 2012. Doris was born November 16, 1921 in Birmingham England. She emigrated to Canada in 1957 and made her home in Guelph, ON with her late husband Ernest (Tom) Evans and her four children; John, Jill, Stephen and Susan. Cherished grandma of seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was the dear sister of Maud Ball of England and the late Violet Knowles and David James. She was an employee for over 25 years at the Dominion stores in Guelph. Doris loved to sing and will be remembered greatly for her songs and poems and she will be sorely missed by her many family and friends. Rested at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, on. Private cremation has taken place.
