Damaren, Generva Ernestina "Genny" - Peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital in Friday, November 14, 2014 in her 95th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Umberto (1974). Loving mother of Rena. Survived by her sister Savina MacNeil of New Waterford, Nova Scotia, brother-in-law Mario Damaren, sisters-in-law Norina Favaro, Yolanda Ordrico (Tony), Lisa Tedesco and Catherine Bresolin. Predeceased by her parents Alfonso and Maria Bresolin, her four brothers, Ernesto, Luigi, Leno and Louis and her son-in-law Bob Khan. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and friends. A special thank you to the Emergency Room and 4th floor staff at the Guelph General Hospital for their compassion and care. Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where visitation will take place on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A family vigil will be held in our chapel on Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John's Catholic Church, 45 Victoria Rd. N., Guelph, on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Interment of ashes at Marymount Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. John’s Parish Community Building Fund, St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation or a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
