MacKENZIE, GLORIA MARIE:-(nee Finora):-surrounded by her family, passed away suddenly at the Hamilton General Hospital, on Tuesday September 17th, 2013, at the age of 70 years. Beloved wife of William J. Malone and the late Kenneth MacKenzie (2004). Loving mother of LeeAnn and her husband Henry Walser of Kitchener; Janice and her husband Matthew Teeter of Elora and Dan and his wife Nancy MacKenzie of Guelph. Loving step-mother of Corey and his wife Sara Malone; Colin and his wife Julie Malone and Eric and his wife Barb Malone all of Guelph. Cherished Nana of Brittany; Jenna; Christopher; Eric; Kayla; Cameron; Ben; Ella; William; Elizabeth; Joseph; James; Jackson; Ethan; Megan and Marcus. Dear sister of Jeanette and her late husband Don Shaver; Doreen and her late husband Peter Stradiotto; Rose and her husband George Raso and Doll and her husband Joe Fox and sister-in-law of Mary Finoro and her late husband Dino and Marlene and her husband Ted Blythe. Survived also by many nieces, nephews and friends. Gloria was a teacher with the Wellington Catholic District School Board for more than 30 years. She enjoyed gardening; traveling; reading; shopping; cooking and most of all spending time with family and friends. A good friend recently said, "Gloria made the world a better place, no matter where she went." She will be greatly missed. (Wednesday 7-9pm and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm) Funeral on Friday, September 20th, to St. Mary's Church, Geddes Street, Elora, for Funeral Mass at 12 Noon. Interment Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
