Jack Heffernan

Heffernan, John Joseph (Jack) – At the Guelph General Hospital, on Saturday, July 18, 2015. Jack Heffernan, age 85 years, was the beloved husband of Mary (Bragagnolo) Heffernan. He was the loving father of John and his wife Fran, Carrie and her husband Tom Nethery, and Cathy Heffernan. Jack was the proud grandfather of Joe and Paul Nethery , and Andy and Amanda Heffernan. He was the dear brother of Marjory, Joan, and Dori, and predeceased by Rita, Helen, Mary, and George . Jack was a member of the Guelph Fire Dept. and retired as a Platoon Chief after 35 years of service. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Jack will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 4 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Boniface Church, Maryhill on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 10 a.m. Interment Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
