He will be sadly missed by his wife Rita (nee Van Belsen) of 49 years and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his father Nicolaas Slijkerman and mother Maria Clerx, brothers Gerry Slykerman, Peter Slykerman, Tuis Slijkerman, Jan Slijkerman, Nico Slijkerman, Marie Klumpkens, Nellie Van Alphen (Schreurs) Christine Wester, Corry Engelen , Truus Sillekens, Annie Slijkerman
He emigrated from The Netherlands in 1955 to Ingersoll, Ontario, then to London, Ontario as Warehouse Manager for Kelvinator and from there to Guelph, Ontario as Warehouse Manager for Tremways, until he retired in 1987.
