Loving mother to Chris and Brett, and proud grandmother to Hudson and Lennox.
She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, wit, and resilience. A proud daughter of Fenelon Falls, Jane's heart always remained at Cameron Lake, her cherished childhood home and lifelong sanctuary.
A skilled downhill skier with a fearless spirit, Jane brought the same energy to the kitchen, where she was known for her unforgettable Chicken Pacific and legendary Artichoke Dip. Her culinary gifts were only rivaled by her love of film, and she could hold her own in any conversation about cinema with the insight of a true aficionado.
Jane spent 25 dedicated years as a psychiatric nurse at Homewood Health, offering care and compassion to those who needed it most. Her outgoing nature and charming—albeit dark—sense of humour brought light even to the heaviest of days. She often said, “If you don’t have humour, you don’t have anything,” a philosophy she lived by and shared freely.
She found joy in quiet moments at the Bookshelf Café in Guelph and adventures to the scenic Elora Gorge. Whether telling a dry joke or sharing a heartfelt story, Jane will be remembered as someone who made people feel seen, heard, and always welcome.
She leaves behind a community of friends, family, and colleagues who will forever miss her spirited presence and unmatched humour.
