MARSHALL, Jim - After a short battle with cancer, Jim passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington, on Thursday, May 24, 2012 with his loving family by his side. Beloved husband of Sandra (nee Gray) Marshall for 50 years. Loving father of Lynn (Kevin Poore) and Dave (Denise). Cherished grampa of Christopher (Anita), Andrew (Kathy), Candice (Paul), Micheal, and Brad (Tera). Great-grampa of Bella, Ethan, Jeremy, Kaitlyn, Keyanna and Paul Jr. Dear brother of Joan, Ron (Bonnie), Sharon McMillan (Melvin) and Chris Rosenow. A special thank you to the staff and volunteers of Hospice Wellington for their kind support. Jim will be greatly missed by family and friends. The family will receive friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2012. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice Wellington or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
