Collett, John Thomas-- At the Guelph General Hospital, on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. John Thomas Collett, age 70 years, was the beloved husband of Margaret (Klein) Collett of Ariss. He was the loving father of Kim and her husband Art Dube of Kitchener, Tracy and her husband Simon Parkin of Unionville, and Shawn Collett of Toronto. John was the proud Poppa of Madison, Rheanna, Cali, Cooper, and Luke, and to grandpuppy Touraeg. Predeceased by his sister Sharon Collett. John will be remembered by Jeff Kesselring and family. John was a past Grand Knight of Maryhill Knights of Columbus, a member of the Holy Name Society, and was also a former curler with the Maryhill K. of C. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Friday, April 5, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for John will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 3 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Boniface Church, Maryhill, on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Boniface Church Building Fund, or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards are available at the funeral home 519-821-5077 or send condolences at www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com).

A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Boniface Church, Maryhill, on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, St. Boniface Cemetery, Maryhill.
