PATAY, John Thomas— Passed away at Meaford Long Term Care Centre on Tuesday, July 1, 2014. John Thomas Patay, in his 95th year, was the beloved husband of the late Kathleen Ann (nee Pepkowski) (2005). He was the dear father of Thomas John (Judy), Janette Marie (Donald Scott), Stanley David (Ella) and Lorraine Ann (William Douglas). He is fondly remembered by seven grandchildren: John, Robert, Steven, Allan, Marie, Douglas and Vickie and by seventeen great-grandchildren, Thomas, Kevin, Jacob, Timothy, Noah, Isaac, Hannah, Esther,Daniel, Emily, Riley, Matthew, Gregory, Lincoln, Mitchell, Skylar and Naomi. John was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Mary Patay, by his sister Nellie Thisdale and by his dear great-grandson Kevin. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Thursday, July 3, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, July 4, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. Interment, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
