Somerville, Dr. John C.W. Died peacefully with his family by his side, on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at his home in Guelph. John Somerville in his 94th year, beloved husband of Margaret (Francis) Somerville for 62 years. Much loved father of Frances (Alan Flint), Alison Jardine, Rosemary McCrae and Robert (Ann). Cherished grandfather of Alison (Matthew McAdam), Sarah, Ian, Hilary, Gavin, John, Richard, Fiona and Peter. Survived by brother of Charles Somerville of Edinburgh, Scotland. Special thanks to those who assisted in caring for John over the past few years. A dedicated physician with eclectic interests maintained his humour and love of life always. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at St. George's Anglican Church, 99 Woolwich St., at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Learning Disabilities Association or to the Voice of Hearing Impaired Children would be appreciated by the family.
