Szmidt, Jozef – Passed away peacefully, at St. Joseph’s Health Centre on Monday, April 21, 2014. Jozef was the loving husband for 68 years to Wanda. Beloved father of Donna (Larry), Barbara (Omero) and the late Richard. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer (Ryan), Catherine (Rob), Carly and Olivia and great-grandfather of Emma, Brayden and Addyson. Family and friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Vigil for Jozef will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at St. John’s Church, 45 Victoria Rd., N., on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with interment at Marymount Cemetery. If so desired, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or to St. Joseph’s Health Centre would be appreciated by his family.
