Kevin Michael Lyon

Passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 8, 2018 after a heart attack, at the age of 45. Beloved husband of Lee Lyon for 23 years. Loving Father of Grace and Chloe. Cherished son of Gary and Johanne Lyon. Grandson of Fred and Betty Dunn. Loving brother of Cindy, Stephen and Kelly (Carl Richards). Kevin was an extra special son-in-law to John and Sally Stoddart. Brother in-law to Peter (Lee MacMillan), Jane and Dave (Sherri Hopkins). Proud uncle of Meghan, Taylor, Kaitlyn, Bailey, Brandon, Makayla, Alexis, Lincoln, Winter, Max, Walker, Mark, Craig and Steven. Kevin will be fondly remembered by many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

If Kevin could have ‘rubbed some dirt on it’, he’d get back in the game. Kevin was a passionate ball player, which brought him many close friendships that lasted his lifetime. Kevin also supported pro-boxing from behind the scenes and loved everything competitive. He went from building custom trikes to building bridges, docks, and just about any home renovation project. Ask any friend, neighbour or cottager, Kevin was always there to lend a helping hand. His passion for success was evident in his career and everyday life. Kevin loved travelling with his family and he was his girls number one fan at all their events. Best of all Kevin was a devoted parent and loving husband. His parents raised him proud.

A Celebration of Kevin’s Life will be held at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph on Friday, July 13 at 11:00 a.m.
