

With great sadness, but left with warm memories, we mourn the loss of a loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle and great uncle, remembered for his easy laugh, genuine love of people, friendly giant of a person, who loved children, and would start a conversation with them wherever he was. Missing him already, are his loving wife Earlene, his children Larissa (James), Chris (Ness), Gregory (Julie) and Elise (Chris), his beloved grandchildren, Hannah, Sebastian, Emma, Jacob, Simone, Maxwell, Becca, and Isabelle and his brother Ray (Norah) and brother-in-law Brian and numerous wonderfully caring, nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his sisters Theresa, Eva, Lucy, Margaret and brothers, Louis, Andrew, Art, and Ed. Len was the 8th child of ten, born to Arthur Robitaille and Leonie Laurin in Midland, Ont. After Art College, Len worked in fine fabrics with Sanderson's of England, calling on interior decorators, architects & designers, later forming the Table Company, making boardroom tables for the same clientele and universities. Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph for visitation on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with a vigil being held at 3:30 p.m. Memorial Mass is to be celebrated at Basilica of our Lady, 28 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 11 a.m. Private family burial of ashes in Midland, Ontario at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
