HANNIGAN, Margaret Jane— Peacefully, in her 88th year, with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at the LaPointe Fisher Nursing Home, Guelph. Beloved wife of Percy Edward Hannigan and the late Thomas Marshal Morrison (1966). Loving mother of the late John Thomas, Margaret Heffernan and her late husband Wayne (1996), Alexander Morrison and his wife Judy, Thomas Morrison and his wife Sonia, Geraldine “Dina” Morrison and her husband Joe Karn, Sharon Whalen and her late husband Wayne Stevenson (2007) and the late Robert Stewart Morrison(2012) and his wife Bunny. Loving step-mother to Cindy McGregor and her husband Rodney, William Elizuk and his wife Denise and Colleen Cox and her husband Trevor. She is survived by her siblings Burgess Penney and his wife Catherine,Gertrude Bonnar and her late husband James, Stewart Penney and his wife Noreen and Emma Matthews and her husband Les. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. A special thank you goes out to Dr. Ruddock and to the Lapointe Fisher staff for their kindness and care. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 11am to 1 pm. A celebration of Jane’s life will follow in the chapel at 1 pm.
