Margaret Hume

Passed away peacefully on Monday, October 16, 2017 at the Guelph General Hospital. Margaret was predeceased by her beloved husband William Harold (2004) and by her granddaughter Melissa Kathleen Cook (1997). She was the loving mother of Valerie (Harry) McCallion, Marion (Ken) Reive, Barry, Kenny (Joey), Cheryl Ann and Kim (Brenda). She is survived by her sister Joan Dent and her family of Chelmsford, England. Cherished grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother of many. She will also be fondly remembered by her loving friend Ted Neve.

Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A service of remembrance will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with interment of her ashes to follow. If so desired, memorial donations made to the C.N.I.B. or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
