Marie Loretta Bordignon

Our beautiful mother passed away peacefully surrounded by "Angels" on Monday, December 11, 2023. Beloved wife of 48 years to Victor Bordignon (1998). Dearest mother to her loving son Richard (Sheila) and devoted daughter Helen and her amazing son-in-law Ralph Evans. Remembered dearly by her grandchild Corey (Laurie) Evans, Troy (Margaret) Evans, Candace (James) McGee, and Dean (Lauryn) Bordignon and five wonderful great grandchildren Austin, Alyssa, Rowan, Declan and Olivia. Predeceased by her parents Alfred and Helen (Schnurr) Ellig, her brothers Wilfred, Joe, Francis, Jim and sisters Isbel Male, Eileen MacDonald and Mady Seiling. Mom's loving sister Evelyn Burtonwho always could make her smile, and sister Cecile Hummel. Her loving dear sisters-in-law Mae Ellig and Margy Bordignon. All the wonderful nieces, nephews who visited, called her often and shared many stories and laughs. Thank you all!

So special are the doctors, nurses and PSWs at the Guelph General Hospital. Your constant care and attention to our Mom was so comforting.

Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin Street North, Guelph (519-822-4731). A Chapel Service will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 11:00am with Father Valentine officiating. Burial at Marymount Catholic Cemetery, 5400 Hwy 6 North, Guelph. Reception to follow in the funeral home's Fellowship Lounge. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Hospice Wellington or to the Guelph Wish Fund for Children would be appreciated.
