ATKINSON, Marion May (nee McRobb) - At Freeport Hospital, Kitchener, on Friday, January 13, 2012 in her 88th year. Marion will be sadly missed by her son Bob (Karen) Atkinson, daughter Linda Smith (Ken), grandsons Derrick Tonkin and Brian (Alicia) Atkinson, granddaughter Vanessa (Luke) Tonkin and great-grandson Ethan. Predeceased by her husband William and grandson Jeffery. The family would like to thank the staff of Freeport Hospital, Kitchener and the Village of Riverside Glen for their loving care given to Marion. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph. There will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place, spring inurnment will be held in Niagara Falls. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
