Don’t think we are apart
For every time you think of me
I’m right here in your heart”
~David M Romano~
Peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, March 2, 2019, just 2 months before his 70th birthday, Paul John Inwood passed away. Beloved husband, for 47 years, of Joan. Loving father of Shannon and Maureen. Very proud grandfather of Logan and Audrey. Predeceased by his parents, sister, and brother. Paul will be missed by his sister Lynn, his sister-in-law Debbie, and lovingly remembered by a very large family.
Paul began his career in banking. He had several jobs, retiring from Domtar when they closed down. He found his ideal retirement job at Lookout Point until he became ill. He loved gardening and woodworking, and was forever helping his family and friends. He was always the first one out with the snow-blower.
A heartfelt thank-you to Dr. P. Hughes and his nurse Barb, and Dr. Tharmabala for giving us 11 extra years together. Thank you to Guelph EMS, Police and Fire Departments for their kindness and guidance.
At Paul’s request, there will be no formal funeral. Cremation has already taken place. A family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Lupus Canada, Canadian Cancer Society, or Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
