Peter Lago

Passed away peacefully after a brief illness, with his family by his side on March 29, 2015 in his 67th year. Devoted husband and best friend to Carol for 18 years. Loving father to Geoffrey (Marianne), Jeremy (Kathryn), Frances (Michael Lee), Matthew, Philip (Mystique), and Patrick. Loving Nonno to Isabella, Gabriella, Anya, and Naomi. Loving brother to Gena Simpson, Gino (Lorna), Virginia (Paul Miller), and John (Pauline). Beloved son-in-law to Molly Molinaro. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends. Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, for visitation on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 from 1 – 4 and 6 – 9 p.m. A celebration of Peter’s life will take place in the Hart Chapel on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 10 a.m. A private inurnment of ashes will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the Welcome In Drop-In Centre or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
