LAGO, Pietro— Peacefully with his loving family by his side on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at the Guelph General Hospital, in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Rosa, “Rosetta” for 51 wonderful years. Loving father of Flavio (Susan), Ivano (Patricia) and Luisa. Cherished nonno of Briony, Sophia and Amanda. Survived by his brother Graziano (Maria) and nine other brothers and sisters, and extended family in Italy. Brother-in-law and zio to the Lago and DaMaren families in the Guelph and surrounding area. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where visitation will take place on Sunday, October 5, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Family Vigil will be held in our chapel on Sunday at 3:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John’s Catholic Church, 45 Victoria Rd. N., Guelph, on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 1pm. Interment at Marymount Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. John’s Church or to the Foundation of the Guelph General Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.
