Robert Lawrence Haid

Passed away peacefully on July 24, 2022 in Guelph. Father of Rob (Liz), Sue Sawchuk and Vicky Keller. Adored grandpa of Jessica (Jason), Rachel, Amy (Alex) and Daniel (Tara), David (Morgan), Dylan and Stephanie (Mathew), Evan (Alexandra). Great Grandpa of Chance, James, Anderson, Poppy, Jackson and Georgia. Survived by siblings Marie, Raymond, Helen, Barbara, Brian, Leonard, Joan and Donny. Predeceased by parents Lawrence and Matilda Haid and brothers Carl and Joseph.

August 11, 2022: Visitation from 10am-12:00 at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home (252 Dublin St N Guelph). Funeral mass begins at 1:00 at the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate (28 Norfolk St). Cremation has taken place and the private family burial will be at Marymount Cemetery (5400 Highway 6 North).

Robert felt blessed when he received communion at Norfolk Manor and he hoped to go to church again. Think of Robert when you see the concrete steps at church and the pathways in The Garden of Grace. After saying prayers with his friend Bert, there was time to chat about construction projects.
