Thank you to the many family and friends that reached out to us with memories and stories expressing how much Jeff was loved and will be missed. To Rob and Alina Cox, for their friendship, kindness and support.
The moment I met Jeff, we both knew that we would be together as best friends, partners in life. We raised our three beautiful children together, whom he loved and would do anything for, and helping them navigate through life. Jeff understood me and was always there for me. Jeff was very intuitive always knowing if I had something on my mind and helping me work through it.
Jeff was a sports enthusiast which was reflected in the time with our children playing hockey, soccer, dirt biking, tennis. Jeff never missed a practice or game, always on time, never late.
Jeff was quiet never saying too much, kind with his words and actions, loving his family unconditionally, generous with his time with the children, hardworking and committed to doing the best work, he was devoted and truehearted to me and our children, and a great cook, most of the time adding his own twist to the recipes. Jeff and I were great travel partners, enjoying the time together seeing the sites. Always looking forward to planning the next destination, Jeff would research and plan what the popular sites and attractions we would visit. The kids and I will greatly miss you Jeff, you will be forever in our hearts. We will remember you with great memories and reminisce about all of the good times we had as a family.
A private service will be held at Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. If so desired, memorial donations to Michael House, Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Online donations and condolences can be made at www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com.
