Gimbert, Shanna Bell -- At the Guelph General Hospital, on Thursday, January 20, 2011. Dr. Shanna Bell (Wright) Gimbert age 95 years, was the beloved wife of Gordon Gimbert of Hillsburgh. She was the loving mother of Kirsten Gimbert and her husband Jim Bruton of Hillsburgh. Predeceased by her sister Nancy Boyce and her husband Billy. survived by her niece Neena (Helen) Ross and her husband Bill of Edzell, Scotland, and her cousin Anne Irvine of Glasgow, Scotland. Fondly remembered by Shanna and Walter Lucas of Creemore , Ontario. Shanna was a physician and surgeon at Women's College Hospital, Toronto from 1946-1972. In her semi-retirement, she continued to practice in Rockwood, ON with Dr. Jane Hosdil until 1989. There will not be any visitation or funeral service.
