CURTIS, Shirley Marie - Peacefully at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Guelph, on Monday, April 2, 2012. Shirley Marie (Hignell) Curtis, at the age of 76 years. Beloved wife of Leo J. Curtis. Dear mother of Terri, Christine and her husband Andy Brock, Michael, Tracey and her husband Nelson Boucos all of Guelph and the late Margaret Lynne (1961). Loved gramma of Nicole Simmons (Jason), Tara, Jennifer and her fiancé Alex Cubbidge and Taylor. Nana of Kaiden. Dear sister of Betty Larson and her husband Norm, Margaret Gouthro and her late husband Ronald, Phyllis Klein and her husband Howard, Nancy Oliver all of Guelph and the late Robert Hignell (2001), Patricia Evans (1988) and William John (1938). Shirley is predeceased by her parents Anderson Hignell and Margaret Rose Searle. She is survived by her many nieces and nephews. Shirley will be greatly missed by her best friend of 70 years, Marcia Kratzer. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2012 in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Marymount Cemetery.
