Stanley Ross Wright

WRIGHT, Ross - Passed away peacefully at Guelph General Hospital, in his 82nd year, on Monday, April 27, 2009. He was the beloved husband of the late Thelma (lnett) Wright (2006). Ross was the loving father of Barbara Wright (Nick Galanos), Jannette McAlpine (Wright) (Michael McAlpine), Sharon Wright (John Farrugia), Steven Wright (Patricia) and the late Cathy Goemans (Wright) (1999) (Jack Goemans). He was the loving grandfather of Jeffrey Goemans, Megan Sloane, George Galanos, Jordan McAlpine, Sarah Wright and Adam Wright and great-grandfather of Trace Sloane. Ross is predeceased by his brother, Allen Wright. Survived by his sister-in-law, Norma Wright, of Chatham. The family would like to express special thanks to the nursing staff on 5 West, at the Guelph General Hospital, for all their care. Ross was a proud employee with Pirelli Cables, Guelph, for 40 years. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel , 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Thursday, April 30, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, May 1, 2009 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Canon Jean Mitchell of St. George's Anglican Church officiating. A reception will follow in the funeral home fellowship lounge. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph.
