Stephanie Liane Latta

Beloved daughter of Deana Latta (Dave), and Terry DeForest. Adored mother of Makayla, Matteo and Jayda. Treasured sister of Clayton, and Breanne. Missed by step father Steve Poole, special Auntie Jo-Jo (Silvano), aunts Mary'lynn, Judy (Derek), Penny, and Uncles Jim, Dan and David; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. Grandparents Don and Lois Hebert, Bernice and Maurice Poole, Ed and Alison Latta. Special lifelong friend to Lisa and Amanda.

Many friendships made over the years in the Amherstburg, Windsor and Guelph area are feeling the loss of their dear friend.

Our 'Stephie' had a smile that would light up a room and never lost her sense of childlike wonder. We will miss her long, rocking hugs that made the world stop for a minute and always left sparkles on your shoulder. Those hugs were a gift, and anyone who ever received one, I am sure, carries the warmth of that memory still.

Private cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Stephanie’s Life will be held at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel 252 Dublin St.N., Guelph on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 1 p.m.

A reception will be held at Grace Gardens 721 Woolwich St Guelph following the service
