SIMS, Steve F. - Unexpectedly, at Guelph, ON, Steve passed away, on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 in his 79th year. Steve was the beloved husband of Ann Sims (nee Hamilton) for 48 years. Loving father of Scott (Heather), Lisa (Kevin Morrison), Hanna (Steve Morris), Nolan (Stephanie), Catherine (Carlos Rego) and the late Michael Sims. Cherished grandpa of Connor, Ross, Beka, David, Rachael, Joshua, Neely and Ryan. Dear brother of Nicholas Sims (Calgary, AB). Steve will be greatly missed by his family, friends, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Saturday, November 12, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph. Steve was a member for over 50 years of the Loyal Order of Moose. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Kids Can Play or the Guelph Wish Fund for Children would be appreciated by the family.
