Tommaso Fontana

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Tom Fontana on February 19, 2021 surrounded by his family at the age of 59. Beloved husband of Karen. Loving father of Cosimo (Sarah), Leo-Luca (Sarah), Stefano (Laci), Salina, and step father of Devin (Nikki), Jade, and Madison. Cherished Nonno of Leo. Loving son of Carmela. Dear brother of Francesco (Natasha), and uncle of Matteo, Melina, and Cosimo. Tom will be missed by the mother of his boys, Lina, and his sister in law of Liz. He will be remembered by Ron and Kathy Dunn and family, and many extended family and friends. Predeceased by his father Cosimo (2013), and brother Gino (2014).

Visitation will be held at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph, on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 3-7pm. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, visitors are required to RSVP on the funeral home website (www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com), practice social distancing, and wear a mask at all times. A private Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. The funeral will be available on the funeral home website through Zoom at 10:30 a.m. Private entombment will take place at Marymount Cemetery.
