

KELLY, Vincent Paul - On Tuesday, July 28, 2009, in his 58th year, at Princess Margaret Hospital. Vince was born in Guelph, Ont., on December 31, 1951 to Desmond and Rita Kelly. True to his Irish roots and upbringing, Vin maintained a competitive spirit where he gave nothing less than 100 percent to all he set his heart to. This and other endearing characteristics enabled him great success. He achieved excellence in business as well as life. Vin was a true entrepreneur. He followed his dreams through many travels, forging success in the Bahamas, Edmonton, and finally Toronto where he lived and worked until his death. Vin has something extraordinary, people loved to be around him. With his many good friends he celebrated life, shared his love of sports, games, and all things leisure. It was a true privilege knowing him. Beloved brother of Jo-Anne Gordon of Guelph; Bob Weber of Kitchener; brother-in-law of Fulton Butts; and cherished uncle of Dean Lizotte, Douglas, Vickie, Michael, and Matthew Butts (Patay). With many adoring great nephews, nieces, friends and long time employees of Logo Magik, Vin shall be missed for all time. Predeceased by his parents and his sister, Ednamae Kelly. Family and friends may gather at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home , Dublin Chapel , 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, August 1, 2009, at 11 a.m. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
