Passed away, peacefully, at home on Monday, January 23, 2017. Violet Rose (nee Elphick) Booth, age 92 years, was the beloved wife of the late Roy Booth (2013). She was the dear mother of Linda Hornick and Rob Booth (Linda Varangu). Violet was the loving grandmother of Carissa (Matt), Dacia (Shaun), Dayne and Valen and the great-grandmother of four: Violet, Jocelyn, Keegan and Coby. Violet is survived by her siblings Rosemary Bowers and John (Jill) Elphick. She was predeceased by her sister Lily Elphick, by her brother-in-law Eric Bowers and by her parents Norman and Rose (nee Barton) Elphick.
Friends are invited to attend a funeral service at Dublin Chapel on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 1 p.m. Interment, Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
